Frequently asked questions

Which Yonex series is best for beginners?

A Play version of any series is beginner-friendly. If you don’t know your style yet, Arcsaber 7 Play is the safest choice because its even balance suits every type of shot.

Is Astrox or Nanoflare better for doubles?

Nanoflare suits front-court doubles players who need fast reactions. Astrox suits the back-court player who does most of the smashing. Many doubles pairs use one of each.

Is the Tour version worth it over Game?

For regular competitive players, yes: Tour versions use materials close to the Pro and feel more solid. For club players who play a few times a week, the Game version is excellent value.

Why are Pro and Tour racquets sold unstrung?

Advanced players prefer to choose their own string and tension. At Prokick, website orders include free stringing.
